Our long term research goal is to (1) explore biological, biochemical, and biophysical processes in infection, replication, and transmission of human pathogenic viruses; and (2) to develop antivirals (drugs, small compounds, and siRNA) against HIV-1, HTLV-1, SARS-CoV-2, and SARS-CoV.
