Anusha Golamari, MSHI, PharmaD, Clinical Research Coordiantor

Anusha Golamari, clinical research coordinatorAnusha Golamari, MSHI, PharmD, joined the Department of Neurology in October 2024 supporting the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) program as a clinical research coordinator. Her passion for clinical research stems from a deep desire to contribute to advancing treatments and improving patient outcomes. Golamari completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at JNTU Kakinada University in India. 

In 2022, she moved to the US to pursue a Master’s in Health Informatics at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Golamari's background in informatics allows her to merge research and technology to drive innovation in clinical studies. Her previous experience as a clinical research coordinator (CRC) with Parexel, a global clinical research organization in India, The University of Missouri’s School of Medicine, and Veranex on a contractual basis, have provided her a strong foundation in research coordination, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered research.  

Golamari shares her career choice inspiration, “Since childhood, I have dreamed of working in healthcare and helping patients overcome diseases. This passion has developed a strong interest in research and patient care. Over time, I realized clinical research is crucial in bringing new treatments to patients, which led me to specialize in this field.” 

Outside of work, she loves traveling, cooking, and dancing, and is active on Instagram sharing her dance reels!
